Summer is coming to an end! Join us on the wild side for a fun adults-only night. Treat yourself to a night out before summer is officially over and fall is here. Take part in exotic animal encounters and enjoy a delicious charcuterie style dinner.

On Friday, August 21st we will offer an adult night that includes an hour tour to visit monkeys, lemurs, foxes, otters, reptiles, wildcat, coatis, bearcat and more. Reserve a VIP ticket to include the sloth encounter AND new baby room where you'll see capuchins, squirrel monkeys and baby lemurs. Before, after or during your tour you can enjoy a complimentary charcuterie style dinner. Turn your visit into a date night you will never forget.

Get up close and personal with all the exotic animals and take part in hand-feeding, petting and photos. After your exotic animal encounters, relax and enjoy dinner while watching the animals play.

There is a limited number of tickets available to keep our tours manageable so everyone gets the best experience and individual interaction. Select between TWO different ticket options. 

  • VIP includes full tour PLUS sloth encounter
  • General Tour does NOT include sloth encounter. You receive an hour tour to see spider monkeys, ruffed lemurs, bearcats, wildcat, foxes and otters only.

All tickets include dinner!

What to expect during the event:

Animal Encounters

  • Meet our Spider Monkeys! Tour their playroom, hand-feed them their favorite snacks and watch them swing around during this up-close encounter. You will have the pleasure of seeing Winston, Quinley, Mila, Brodie, Lolie, Pip, Mia, Rebecca, Abu, Lulu and Minky.
  • Meet our Ruffed Lemurs! Theo and Soraya love for you to give them treats and Edwin and Giada love to snuggle. 
  • Meet our Foxes! Lake and Linc, our fennec foxes are tiny and cute. Wilder and Aspen, our bat-eared foxes are waiting to be given snacks. And our most recent addition, our cape fox Calena!
  • Meet our Otters! Fisher and Ocean are the most playful animals here at the ranch. You can even watch them play in their pond!
  • Meet our Reptiles! We will have some of our ball pythons available for handling for those that are interested. Ball Pythons are one of the most docile reptiles around.
  • Meet our new wildcats! Our African Serval, Azura, and our African Caracal, Elias.
  • Meet our coatis! Tosca is a Mountain Coatimundi and Talulah is a White Nose Coatimundi.
  • Meet our Binturongs! Ravenna, the bearcat, is ready to climb on your shoulders. She is adorably cute and smells like popcorn.Lucian is super playful!
  • Meet our Sloth! For an additional fee, you can spend 15 minutes in a quiet room with Stanley.  He may sleep most of the day, but he sure loves his healthy veggie snacks too! Come pet his adorably soft back and feed him some sweet potato or greens.  The add-on option of having a sloth encounter is very limited due to his love of peace and quiet.
  • Meet our Capuchins! Barrett and Sutton, our new baby capuchins are adorable to see.
  • Meet our Squirrel Monkeys! Freya and Inzo will take little snacks from you while chirping loudly.
  • Meet Alani, our baby red ruffed lemur, in our baby room. She will snuggle you and eat treats from your hand.
  • Meet our baby lemurs! Kyomi, Gideon, Olivia, Zeppelin, and Edison are ready for treats.

Extra Activities

  • We will have a photo backdrop setup for you to take photos.
  • Complimentary charcuterie dinner.
  • Food and Snacks – There will be no shortage of fresh produce and snacks to feed the animals. Everything you need to make your encounter fun will be provided.

What To Expect

  • Meet your favorite exotic animals during an interactive experience. Get hands-on and up-close with monkeys, lemurs, otters, foxes, a sloth, wildcats, coatis and snakes.

  • Hand-feed, pet and play with our well socialized exotic animals. We provide all the treats and snacks for you to entice them to quickly become their new best friend.

  • Capture these rare moments and your special memories with as many photos and videos as you’d like during the event.

Do we get to hold the animals?

Yes! Our ruffed lemurs are cuddlers. Fisher and Ocean, our asian small clawed otters love to play. Our ball pythons are one of the most docile reptiles for handholding.  We cannot guarantee holding any of the monkeys, they decide who they go to. Handling primates is based on trust that is earned. They will happily eat from your hand and let you pet them.

Can we take photos?

Of course! We encourage photos and videos with your favorite exotics. Don’t forget to tag us on social media if you share! @funkymonkeyranch We will also have a photo backdrop set up to encourage capturing your memories.

Can we bring our own food for the animals?

We will provide all the fresh fruit and veggies for handfeeding. If you just love to give or have a home garden, the animals love just about all produce and Gerber baby puffs as a treat.

If I can't make it, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, our event tickets are non-refundable. We try to provide a fun experience during our events and use the ticket money to cover costs for the event in advance. To make sure there is enough treats and food for everyone to feed and activities for those in attendence, we plan our event budget around the ticket sales.
